ZAYTOON UW

This shirt was designed by Zaytoon UW, a Palestinian-led student organization at the University of Washington, as part of our effort to support displaced Gazan students coming to UW. These students were admitted under an agreement that came out of last year’s Liberated Zone where UW committed to waiving tuition for at least 20 students from Gaza.

The design features an olive branch tatreez motif in the center, found across many areas of Palestine. On each side are heart motifs originating from Ramla, with the word “Palestine” written in Arabic at the bottom.

All proceeds will go toward covering these students’ living expenses, including housing, food, and transportation so they can continue their education.
